Young's Jersey Dairy is a family owned and operated business located one mile north of Yellow Springs, Ohio on Route 68. We have a working dairy farm, make homemade ice cream, and operate two restaurants and a bakery. We have two wonderful gift shops with many collectibles. In addition, we have many family entertainment options for our guests. Miniature golf, watching the cow milking, petting goats and other animals, a beautiful driving range, and a batting cage are just some of the fun things to do during your visit.

A dairy farm famous for its ice cream creations, the tour includes a short video showing how the farm operates from feeding and milking cows, to processing the milk and ice cream, to the final sale in the store. You will also visit with the goats, cows, calves, and other animals, take a wagonride (weather permitting), have a cup of homemade vanilla ice cream, a cookie, and an ice cream coupon (for a return visit).

A unique raspberry farm where you can learn the many uses of herbs and everlasting flowers. Choose from a variety of delightful tour options that match the interests of your group. The tours start outside with herbs and flowers and proceed through the production kitchen, then on to the warehouse and shipping areas, concluding in the retail area. Proceed to the shelter house at the side of the herb garden where you can enjoy your raspberry sundae, or tea, box lunch and raspberry sundae, depending on which tour arrangements your group has chosen.

Open year-round, Hampton Herbs features 14 gardens for touring May-October. Among the gardens to be viewed are Water, Secret, Bible, Dye, Medical, Butterfly, Beatrix Potter and Everlasting. Two shops nestled in the woods include a cottage shop with antiques (for sale), wreaths, baskets, soaps, salts, perfurmes, herbs, spices, books, and garden markers. Have a picnic and feed the fish. Gourmet herbal luncheons served to small groups.

  The Hertzler House

The Daniel Hertzler House, built in 1854-55, is an interesting study of 19th century architecture. An air of mystery surrounds the house since the murder of the Daniel Hertzler in the northwest room of the main floor on October 10, 1867. The house overlooks the approximate site of the Shawnee Village of Peckuwe.

Hartman Rock Garden

The garden is open to the public at no charge.
In 1932, Springfielder Ben Hartman began to form, with his own hands, a rock garden that would take him seven years to complete. One of the most outstanding displays (and there are many) is named the "Tree of Life" and is made of 20,000 stones. The rock garden stands today and is surrounded by floral plantings. The main garden runs 35' x 140' with several statues, a dozen large tableaux and a quarter million individual stones.

  Knob Prairie Mound

The largest conical mound in Clark County, the Enon Adena Mound is the second largest in Ohio, second only to the Miamisburg Mound, which is about 35 miles southwest of Enon. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and owned by the Village of Enon, this mound has little verified published information. Located on what was call Knob Prairie Mound Farm, the mound was reportedly used by General George Rogers Clark in 1780 as a vantage point prior to the attack on the Shawnee village of Picawey, located less than two miles to the north.

Cedar Bog

Buck Creek State Park

The largest recreation area in Clark County is Buck Creek State Park which was opened in 1974. The park's 2,120 acre lake allows for unlimited motor boats and features and marina. The park offers, cabins, RV campsites and various recreational possibilities.

This is the site of the largest battle in the Revolution west of the Alleghenies. It covers 248 acres of green meadows, shade trees and scenic waters providing for fishing, hiking, picnicking and non-motorized boating. 
   
Glen Helen Nature Preserve

Glen Helen is a 1,000 acre nature preserve and outdoor education facility owned by Antioch University and located in nearby Yellow Springs. Recognized as a National Natural Landmark, Glen Helen features the Trailside Museum and extensive trails. 
   
  John Bryan State Park/Clifton Gorge

Stretching from the village of Clifton to Yellow Springs, the gorge and park are among the most scenic spots in the midwest. Various hiking trails wind through woods and along the Little Miami River. Camping is available in the park.

The National Trail Parks & Recreation District maintains a variety of facilities at Lagonda, Davey Moore, Rose Street, Selma Road, Veterans Memorial, New Reid and Old Reid Parks, Standpipe and Snyder Park. The City operates the Municipal Stadium and Springfield Family Waterworks Pool and oversees numerous programs for local participation by children and adults. The National Trail Parks & Recreation District also provides leisure activities for Clark County residents of all ages. The programs include everything from athletics to arts and crafts. Much of the programming takes place at the district's 17-acre facility near Medway, the Snyder Valley Recreation Complex, as well as at various schools throughout the area. The trail, used by cyclists, skaters, walkers, etc., extends from Cincinnati through Springfield, a distance of nearly 70 miles.
